Le quintet de Christian Brenner propose un jazz ouvert et poétique. De belles mélodies, du groove, des ostinatos qui suggèrent aux musiciens des improvisations festives et hypnotiques.
Le répertoire est constitué de compositions originales et inédites du pianiste dont les nombreux climats invitent l’auditeur au voyage. Les arrangements sont élaborés par le quintet.
L’alto, le ténor, le soprano et la flûte ouvrent de belles et riches palettes sonores soutenues par une rythmique moderne.

Christian Brenner’s quintet plays an open, poetic form of Jazz which relies on beautiful melodies, groovy rhythms and ostinatos to spark cheerful, hypnotic moments of improvisation.
Comprised of original pieces written by Christian Brenner (piano) and arranged by the quintet, their repertoire is an invitation to explore a diversity of moods with the musicians.
The use of alto, tenor and soprano saxophones as well as the flute conjures up beautiful and complex atmospheres, streadily anchored in a modern rhythm section.
