SARA MIETTE
When Sara discovered jazz as a teenager, it was love at first sight and the beginning of an unquenched curiosity.
Always a singer from an early age, she got involved as a child in singing lessons, music theory and in the choir of the conservatory of her hometown, Saintes, and rubbed shoulders with a first experience of recording.
As a young adult, she assiduously followed her film studies at the University of Rennes and then in Paris, while developing her practice of jazz by joining the conservatory of the 9th arrondissement. She studied there with prestigious teachers such as Sara Lazarus, Nicolas Dary, Luigi Grasso (…), began to sing professionally, and surrounded herself with the best accompanists, like Alain Jean-Marie. Always in search of excellence, she continues her musical development, enriches her practice through the arts and musical travels (New York, Brazil, India, Italy…) and presents her very first album in 2023.
