ABOUT

Jean Pierre Rebillard, musician since 1985, has made the strings of his instrument vibrate within jazz orchestras such as: Carl Schlosser 4tet, Paris-Barcelona-Swing-Conection, Megaswing, Les Gigolos / Pink Turtle… .. This on stages and festivals around the world.

Has worked as a “sideman” with Clark Terry, Benny Bailey, Frank Wess, Wild Bill Davis, Bob Wilbur etc ….

Has made some forays into the field of “varieties” with Guy Marchand, Georges Chelon, Michel Leeb (with Gérard Badini’s large orchestra).

Finally gave its serious tones to a few shows mixing music, dance and comedy: The most beautiful age of life (Unity Theater, musical direction by Nicolas Frize), “Souingue” (Laurent Pelly), “Your eyes n ‘ will not believe their ears! ” (Les Gigolos). Performed in the young audience show “Rire en fugue” by Jacques Haurogné.

Currently working with Claude Tissendier in several of his projects: “Countissimo” (with Michèle Hendricks and Marc Thomas), “Swingologie” (with Gilles Réa and Jérome Etcheberry) and “Cotton Club Show” (with Fabien Ruiz)

Lend a helping hand to “Swing 4” .5 Bernard Rabaud and Dominique Vernhes)

Note, three recordings with guitarist Serge Merlaud: “Histoires 2”, “You Stole My Heart” with singer Roger Letson and finally “Bear on a Tightrope” with Claude Braud as a guest.

To date, has participated in the recording of around fifty CDs, videos or televised recordings.
